The Final “Bradboozle” – Round 1

Sunday, July 10th, Sewell, NJ

By Sean McCall

Bradford Kelsey is a local New Jersey promoter who has been involved in the local music scene for more than a decade.  Brad is constantly working with anybody who is looking to play music.  Whether it’s a well-known band that will bring a good draw, or a newer, younger band that is looking to get their foot in the door, Brad is always willing to help anybody out.  Personally, Brad acquired the nickname of "Brad Dad" because of his 2000’s emo-father-figure look, as well as the fact he got our band on our first show in 2008 in Skaters Choice.  Skaters Choice used to be his go-to venue that he would constantly book shows at, until he switched to booking at Red Dwarf Studios a few years back and has been there since.  Brad Dad has contributed to South Jersey in countless ways and has helped out countless people, but recently has decided to call it quits.

"After ten years I recently decided that it's time to call it quits.  I had a great great run.  Last year I was in this same boat but didn't go through with me ending shows.  Now I realize it is time.  I will have three shows left.  This being one of them.  I have another show July 9th at RED DWARF STUDIOS.  Then I will have one final show where the proceeds will go to the GoFundMe page I'm trying to do. https://www.gofundme.com/23dzmx8

That show will possibly be at Red Dwarf / Berlin VFW / maybe even Skaters Choice.  I have to figure that all out.  Last show will be a Bradboozle.  July 9th might also be a longer show as well since I'm only having 3 total.

Come out to Automation's EP Release Show.  Spread the word!  One of my last 3 shows.  Thanks again to everyone who supported my shows and had a great time being a part of these shows over the last two years.  You're all in great hands with Grandaire Booking and Little House Booking."

— Brad Kelsey

Like I said before, Brad has been involved since Myspace was relevant, so that is really showing some true commitment right there.

On another note, the headliner at the first round of Bradboozle will be a band that was loved by a lot when they were together: Case Closed.  They will be playing this one show this year to pay their dues to Brad.

"We are REUNITING for one night only.  This show is special for multiple reasons.  Come on out for a good cause and good music.  Can't wait to see some old faces, we've missed you guys!  Bradboozle RD 1 at Red Dwarf
