It is that time of year again; West Orange African Heritage Organization (WOAHO) is hosting their 5th Annual "An Afternoon of Jazz" at Hat City Kitchen.  This has proved to be a fun event for the community.  Sunday, April 3rd, 3-7pm.

Building a strong community in West Orange and the surrounding communities is the mission of WOAHO.  Founded in 1999, WOAHO is a voice for and a center of action to advance: academic student achievement and educational advocacy; equity, justice and a high quality of life for all our community; responsible citizenship and participation in municipal governance; and awareness and appreciation for the contributions of the diverse cultures of people of African descent.

Sunday, April 3rd will be the third time "An Afternoon of Jazz" was hosted at Hat City Kitchen.  The venue is a home and destination for live jazz.  David Stryker performed last year.  This year: Nat Adderley Jr., Vincent Ector, and other guests.  Listen to jazz and support an organization dedicated to educating and empowering the West Orange community.
